live concert and gig photography from the hottest shows in London
Gibson Slash

Foals, one of the UK’s hottest indie bands did an excellent gig tonight at London’s Koko, the 7th night of the iTunes Festival. Despite being heavily hyped earlier in the year the band have been keeping a low profile of late focusing on their live performances and festival appearances. This is the 4th time I have seen them perform this year and whilst the show lacked the excitement of their headline show at the Astoria in June it was highly enjoyable. Although Foals and Black Kids were jointly headlining the night around a third of the audience left after their set! The key thing for them now will be to see if they can follow up their debut album and it will be interesting to see if or how they sound develops in subsequent records.
