The incredible rise of the Editors over the past year has been nothing short of phenomenal. Kitchenware’s answer to Oasis Editors have become the second most successful UK band of the 21st Century (according to Wikipedia so must be right)! The band had sold out two nights at the enormous Alexander Palace in North London a huge feat considering that they have only had two albums, and are also from Birmingham! They kicked off their set with their set with “Munich” from their debut album “The Back Room” followed by “An end has a start” the barnstorming single from their second album. Although I think the Editors are musically 2 dimensional I don’t doubt that they will become the next Coldplay. Very enjoyable gig however can’t really understand how they have become so big.
